Linton Ball took 7 catches in an innings in 1st Grade vs Western Suburbs at Caringbah Oval – the most dismissals in an innings by a wicket-keeper in the club’s history.

26 January 2004

Grant Roden took 7-54 in the second innings in 1st Grade vs Mosman at Rawson Oval. He had taken 4-35 in the first innings on 24 January, to give him match figures of 11-89.

27 January 1971

Sutherland won the AW Green Shield for the first time, defeating Northern District at the Sydney Cricket Ground No.2 on 26 & 27 January. The team was captained by Ken Rose and included 14-year-old Andrew Hilditch.

Sutherland 227 (Peter Mitchell 72, Ken Rose 35, Ian Everett 28, David Russell 28) d. Northern District 127 (David Russell 4-46, Grahame Barry 3-24, Paul Aasa 3-35) & 98 (Mick Marien 5-13, David Russell 2-44) outright.

29 January 2000

Martin Carroll took 8-36 in the first innings in 3rd Grade vs Northern District at Asquith Oval. He took 3-44 in the second innings the next week to give him match figures of 11-80.

31 January 1988

Sutherland won the Poidevin-Gray Shield for the first time, defeating Western Suburbs at Mosman Oval. The team was captained by life member & current Chairman of Selectors Phil Weatherall.

31 January 1993

Sutherland won the AW Green Shield, defeating St.George at Hurstville Oval. The team was captained by life member Matthew Bradley.
