Will Vandermaal's hat-trick & half century

With his score of 71 on Saturday, Will Vandermaal completed the rare double of a half century and a hat-trick in the same match. He became the second player after Tony Clark in 2nd Grade in 2002-03 (54 & 6-71 incl hat-trick) to achieve this feat.

Having scored a century in 3rd Grade in Round 8 vs St.George, Will now has a century and a hat-trick in the same season. He became the third player to do this, after Ted Cotton (century & hat-trick in 1st Grade in 1969-70) and Sibghat Khan (century in 2nd Grade & hat-trick in PGs in 2016-17).
