Message to New Player Triallists

Thank you to all players who attended last weekend’s trial at GMO. It was a very competitive session.

Grade selections are very competitive this season and unfortunately, we cannot accommodate all players within our senior teams at this stage.

Club selectors will directly contact any players either selected in a SDCC team or invited to attend Club mid-week training. Unless you hear directly from the Club, your primary cricket will initially be with either your junior club in your relevant junior competition, or with another senior men’s competition available to you.

However, if you are not contacted per the above, this does not necessarily mean opportunities may nor arise over the season. Should circumstances change, we will consider other players, whether for attending training and/or SDCC selection. These opportunities will be considered for and appropriate to developing your turf cricket skills and SDCC involvement over time.
