Yesterday saw the debut of our new electronic scoreboard, which was installed last Tuesday. At the same time, Lee Prescott retired as scoreboard operator after 32 seasons of sterling work. She was on hand to see our move into the modern age yesterday and will now take pride of place watching proceedings from the clubhouse verandah.
1st Grade used the occasion to score a fabulous victory over Sydney, as we chased down the 325 runs required for victory with 2.2 overs to spare, with our Sri Lankan import Tharindu Kaushal leading the way with a fine 61no. To see the scorecard, click HERE.
