Sutherland won the 2nd Grade premiership by defeating Manly-Warringah at Bankstown Oval. The team was captained by Kevin Tuite.

Glenn McGrath finished the Test Series in the West Indies with 30 wickets at 16.93 in the 4 Tests.

Sutherland won the 4th Grade premiership by defeating Manly-Warringah at Caringbah Oval. The team was captained by Adrian Craig.

Phil Jaques won the Steve Waugh Medal as NSW Male Player of the Season for 2005-06.

8 April 1996

Sutherland won its first 1st Grade premiership by defeating Bankstown outright at Bankstown Oval. The team was captained by Rodney Davison and Glenn McGrath won the Benaud Medal for player of the match.

Sutherland 277 (Matthew O’Brien 85, Jason Holley 67, Darren Mitchell 63, Darrell Mann 20) & 3/54 d. Bankstown 154 (Glenn McGrath 5-28, Stuart Clark 2-48) & 176 (Stuart Clark 3-40, Stuart MacGill 3-45, Glenn McGrath 3-72) outright.

We also won the 2nd Grade premiership by defeating St.George at Howell Oval. The team was captained by Kevin Tuite.

Stuart MacGill took 8-108 in the first innings of the 1st Test versus Bangladesh at Fatullah.

11 April 2011

Shane Watson scored 185 not out off 96 balls, with 15 fours and 15 sixes in a one-day international versus Bangladesh at Dhaka. Needless to say, he won the Player of the Match award. It was the highest score in ODIs by an Australian male player until Glenn Maxwell scored his remarkable 201 not out in the 2023 World Cup in India.
