19 March 1966

Paul Lennon took 9-19 in the 4th Grade final vs Central Cumberland at Sutherland Oval, as we won our first premiership in our first season. These were the best bowling figures in an innings for the club until Devlin Malone took 10-116 in 2015-16. The team was captained by Ross Longbottom.

Jasem Rafique scored 172 in the 4th Grade qualifying final vs Northern District at Sutherland Oval – the highest score for the club at Sutherland Oval.

Joel Brockley and Ben Marciante put on 179 for the 7th wicket in the 2nd Grade qualifying final vs Northern District at Joe McAleer Oval – the highest partnership for the 7th wicket in all grades for the club. The team total of 7/585 is also the highest score for the club in all grades.

Ted Cotton took 9-24 in a 1st Grade redraw match vs Gordon at Chatswood Oval – the best bowling figures in 1sts for the club.

Shane Watson became Australia’s 44th Test captain in the 4th Test vs India in Delhi.

23 March 1985

Trent Harvey scored 165no in the 5th Grade semi-final vs Balmain at Blick Oval – the then record score for 5ths.

23 March 1997

Glenn McGrath took 6-86 off 41 overs in the first innings of the 3rd Test vs South Africa at Centurion.

23 March 2003

Glenn McGrath took 3-52 off 8.2 overs in the World Cup Final vs India at the Wanderers Ground in Johannesburg, as Australia won the World Cup.

Steve Smith won the Steve Waugh Medal as NSW Male Player of the Season for 2011-12.

Steve Smith became the fastest player to reach 8000 Test runs, reaching the milestone in his 151st innings (Kumar Sangakkara previous fastest in 152 innings).

25 March 1967

First Grade played in our first 1st Grade final vs Northern District at Waitara Oval on Easter Saturday. Unfortunately, we were sent in on a wet pitch and were bowled out for 154. NDs then replied with 7/384 dec, with former Australian Test great Neil Harvey scoring 136 and former NSW player Neil Marks making 125. We were then dismissed for 203 in our second innings on Easter Monday.

25 March 2014

Steve Smith scored 103no in the second innings of the Sheffield Shield Final vs Western Australia at Manuka Oval. The match was drawn and NSW won the Sheffield Shield, with Steve as captain.

25 March 2017

Steve Smith scored 111 in the first innings of the 4th Test vs India at Dharamsala.
