John Dyson scored 103no in the second innings of the Sheffield Shield match vs Victoria at the SCG.

29 November 1986

Tony Hale took 2 catches in the second innings in 4th Grade vs Randwick at Tonkin Oval. He had taken 5 catches in the first innings, to give him 7 catches for the match – the most by a fieldsman in the club’s history. All but the first catch were taken off his own bowling.

30 November 1981

John Dyson scored 123 in the second innings of the tour match vs West Indies at the SCG (after scoring 98 in the first innings).

1 December 1996

Matthew Bradley scored 118 in the Limited Overs semi-final vs North Sydney at North Sydney Oval – the then record score in 1st Grade L/O matches.

2 December 1977

Steve Rixon made his Test debut for Australia vs India at The Gabba (taking 5 catches in the match).

2 December 1984

Steve Rixon scored 115no in the second innings of the Sheffield Shield match vs South Australia at the SCG.

Bryan Hazell took 7-16 & 3-37 in 4th Grade vs Bankstown-Canterbury at Sutherland Oval – 10 wickets in a day.

John Dyson scored 100 in the McDonald’s Cup match vs South Australia at the SCG (part of an opening partnership of 252 with Rick McCosker).

Phil Jaques scored 217 in the first innings of the Sheffield Shield match vs South Australia at the SCG.

Scott Manning took 8-41 in 3rd Grade vs Gordon at Killara Oval.

Steve Smith scored 164 in an ODI vs New Zealand at the SCG. He won the Player of the Match award.
